With better understanding of the specific features and purposes of each text type, students therefore will be able to develop their writing skills and produce polished pieces. The guided writing prompts can help build students’ confidence and competence. Students also learn how to express their thoughts clearly and argue their points effectively, which are essential skills in both academic and real-world settings.
